 Overview\nThis event is all about Making and the Maker community! 'The goa
 l of Maker Day is to ignite curiosity in making with visitors at Adventure
  Science Center. Visitors will have the opportunity to see making in actio
 n firsthand from expert Makers\, like you\, who call Nashville home.' We w
 ill be presenting our projects in a show and tell format. The ASC is speci
 fically interested in demonstrating Making for the visitors so\, if you ha
 ve a project in the works\, bring it along and describe what and how it's 
 going. Also\, if you have an idea on how to do some short how-tos for visi
 tors to particpate in\, please reach out!!\nThings to know:\n\nSign-up - P
 lease use the form below to let us know that you're volunteering to help o
 ut.\nLocation - The event is at&nbsp\;The Adventure Science Center 800 For
 t Negley Blvd. Nashville\, TN 37203\nSetup - Sunday 7:30am and all vehicle
 s need to be removed from the front of the building by 8:30. This post wil
 l be updated when we know where they are putting us.\nBreakdown - Everythi
 ng needs to be cleared out by 5:00p.\n\nThings We Need\n\nVolunteers - We 
 need help with presenting at the booth.\nProjects - Bring your bots and re
 lated projects for display - both completed or in-progress are welcomed an
 d appreciated!\nSumo Robots - If you have a club kit\, bring it! If you ha
 ve another sumo bot\, bring that too!\nSnacks - We need some folks to brin
 g snacks/drinks.\nExtension Cords / Power Strips - Always needed - Remembe
 r to bring them!\n\nJust like all of our other events this is a great oppo
 rtunity to show Nashville what we are all about. Bring all those awesome p
 rojects you’ve been working on. SUMO robots\, Arduino projects\, Battle Bo
 ts\, Line followers\, Robot Arms\, etc. We have the space so lets fill it.
  Its an opportunity for us to reach people outside the Science Center. Tho
 ugh we’ve been around for 18 years (as of January 2025) there are still pe
 ople who don’t know about the group. Lets put our best foot forward.\nSee
